Rabbit Vaccinations

To be accepted for boarding rabbits

must be vaccinated, to protect against three viruses:

 

  •     Myxomatosis
  •     RHD1
  •     RHD2

 

Many rabbits are now having the new triple vaccine:

Nobivac Myxo-RHD PLUS
Covering Myxomatosis, RHD1 & RHD2

Rabbits need a booster every twelve months.

Please note: First time or overdue vaccines

need three weeks to become fully effective:

 If your rabbit is having having a vaccine for the very first time, or you have allowed your rabbits vaccines to become overdue, please note you will need to allow three weeks for onset of immunity from the date given.

Protection lasts for 12 months.

Rabbits not vaccinated to our requirements

will be turned away.

when making a booking to avoid disappointment.

if your rabbits have been given the

older course of vaccines,

Nobivac MYXO-RHD, and either Eravac or Filavac

meaning two separate vaccines

each to be administered once a year.
